The Municipality of Aleosan proudly celebrated Women’s Celebration 2026, a meaningful event that highlighted the strength, unity, and important role of women from all barangays.
The event was attended by Hon. Eduardo C. Cabaya, MPA Municipal Mayor, together with the Sangguniang Bayan Members present, headed by Hon. Felimon C. Cayang, Jr., – Municipal Vice-Mayor, and Hon. Leonida E. Cantomayor, SB Member and Chairperson of the Committee on Women and Family.
The celebration was also honored by the presence of Vice Governor Ella Taliño-Taray, whose support continues to promote women empowerment in the province.
Several activities were held during the celebration, including a Volleyball Tournament, Zumba Dance Contest, and Parlor Games. These activities showed the talents and teamwork of the participants and encouraged health, unity, and active participation in the community.
One of the main highlights of the program was the Coronation of the Queen of Women’s Federation 2026. This activity was led by the Aleosan Women’s Federation under the leadership of its Federation President, Ms. Imee Cabaya.
Through this celebration, the Municipality continues its commitment to support gender equality, strengthen women’s participation, and encourage more women from every barangay to take part in community programs and activities.
The Women’s Celebration 2026 shows that empowered women help build stronger and more progressive communities.
